Krytox™ GPL 107-500 is a high-performance oil for very high temperatures. It consists of perfluoropolyether (PFPE), a liquid and very inert fluoropolymer. Krytox™ GPL 107-500 has outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. Krytox™ GPL 107-500 offers a significantly longer service life, higher stability and greater reliability compared to conventional lubricants. Krytox™ GPL 107-500 is extremely resistant to temperature and pressure. It is non-flammable and incombustible, compatible with oxygen and resistant to aggressive chemicals. Krytox™ GPL 107-500 is chemically inert and does not migrate even at high temperatures. It is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 107-500 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
