MOLYKOTE® D-7405 Anti-Friction Coating is a thermosetting dry lubricant with a low coefficient of friction. It ensures high wear resistance in applications under low loads. MOLYKOTE® D-7405 Anti-Friction Coating effectively and sustainably avoids stick-slip effects and ensures a low and constant coefficient of friction. It is resistant to oils, greases and solvents and is electrically insulating. This makes MOLYKOTE® D-7405 Anti-Friction Coating particularly suitable for removing contact corrosion. Typical applications of MOLYKOTE® D-7405 Anti-Friction Coating are metal / metal and metal / plastic combinations with slow to medium-fast movements and low to medium loads. It is used particularly in door lock components of vehicles as well as with self-tapping screws and brake clips.
