The WIKO FÜGVERBINDUNG 06K48 is a fast-hardening, heat-resistant product for fastening cylindrical joint connections, with high resistance to acids, alkalis and for fastening cylinder liners in engine blocks. Also suitable for mounting bearings in heating ovens. Not approved for gas domestic installations according to TRGI 86/96. The long-term use of the WIKO 06K48 joint in copper-containing compounds that come into contact with water at >40°C is not recommended without thorough preliminary tests on original parts.
The product hardening (polymerization) takes place with the exclusion of atmospheric oxygen (anaerobic) and the catalytic action of the metal (metal contact).
