Krytox™ GPL 223 is a high performance grease with corrosion protection additive. It has outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. The chemically inert Krytox™ GPL 223 is highly resistant to temperature and pressure. It is non-flammable and incombustible, compatible with oxygen and resistant to aggressive chemicals. Krytox™ GPL 223 convinces in comparison to conventional lubricants by a significantly longer service life, higher stability and greater reliability. Krytox™ GPL 223 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 223 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
