Krytox™ GPL 224 is a high-performance grease with an anti-corrosion additive and has outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. Krytox™ GPL 224 is highly resistant to temperature and pressure, non-flammable and incombustible. It is compatible with oxygen, chemically inert and therefore resistant to aggressive chemicals. Compared to conventional lubricants, Krytox™ GPL 224 has a significantly longer service life, higher stability and greater reliability. Krytox™ GPL 224 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 224 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
